Our nursery curriculum is supported by the development matters and is adapted to meet each child's individual needs and learning journey.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to reflect the knowledge, skills, and experiences we want babies to gain during their time with us. It follows the guidance set out in the Early Years Statutory Framework, which you can view here: www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2.
When creating a curriculum unique to Cherry Trees, we consider many factors, including what makes our childcare setting special, the confidence and sense of belonging we want each child to develop, and both the individual and group needs within our Prestwich community. From this, we have built a flexible, responsive curriculum that celebrates children’s diverse needs, interests, and stages of development, making it suitable for both funded childcare and private care options.
